What is a handicap in SportyBet?

This is done by adding or subtracting a certain number of points or goals from a team's or participant's final score before the match starts.

Types of handicaps

1. European Handicap (integer):
   • Example. If the handicap is set to -2 for team A, this means that two goals must be ‘taken away’ from team A. If Team A wins by three goals, the bet wins. If it wins by two goals, the bet will be a return. If by one goal, the bet will lose. Handicap can both ‘add’ and ‘take away’ goals.

The use of a handicap allows for more balanced betting conditions, which makes the process more interesting and dynamic for players. This bet in terms of difficulty of prediction is between an ordinal (simple) bet, in which a win/loss/ draw is bet and an exact score bet, where a prediction is made on the exact score at the end of the match.
